A Study of the Relationship between Manufacturer Product Strategies with Supply Chain Inventory: A Case Study of Iran Pump Company

The purpose of this study is reviewing the relationship between manufacturer product strategies with supply chain inventory on Iran Pump Company. For this purpose the relation of strategies of product manufacturers with hierarchical structure (push) and warehouse supply in statistical community and flexible manufacturing strategies (pull) with supply chain inventory were investigated. This study is of applied and survey type. The statistical population of this study is Iran Pump Company and its sample case is supply chain inventory of this company. Sample size is 30 patients that were selected randomly from the statistical community. Chi-square test was used for the first hypothesis and variance analysis (ANOVA) was used for the II and III hypotheses. Examining the results of a distributed questionnaire on the three research hypotheses it was found that there is no relationship between the strategies of producing products and hierarchical structure (push) but there is relationship between supply chain inventory and hierarchical structure (push). Similarly, there is relationship between flexible production strategies (pull) and supply chain inventory.
