Comprehensive Evaluation of Teaching and Talents Cultivation Based on Factor Analysis
This paper establishes a comprehensive evaluation indicator system of teaching and talents cultivation and elaborates principles and procedures of the evaluation indicator system based on factor analysis. It carries out an empirical study on the outcome of teaching and talents cultivation in 58 key disciplines in 15 Tianjin higher educational institutes during the period of the “11th Five-Year Plan. Finally the result shows that factor analysis is an objective and suitable method for appraising teaching and talents cultivation outcome.
