CAPP Systems in China_ Issues and Solutions

摘要：

The paper gives an account of the functions of CAPP systems, pointing out their merits and shortcomings. The main problems of the conventional CAPP systems are biased to product process technology design against the amassing, analyzing and management of relevant know-how about product manufacturing. In the opinion of the authors, ideal CAPP systems should integrate process technology innovation, design, optimizing and management so as to provide enterprises abundant technology resources. Then they will greatly benefit the continued development of enterprises.
