Signal enhancement for imaging ellipsomtry biosensor based on gold nanoparticles self-assembly layers
This paper introduced a strategies for improving the sensitivity of biosensor based on imaging ellipsometry by adopting gold nanoparticles(GNPs) self-assembled array on silicon surface. GNPs with the diameter of ~5 nm were used, and the uniform GNPs layers were obtained as the substrate of biosensor. Compared with aldehyde group modified surface, the signal intensity of GNPs modified surface was improved 103 times for the interaction between human serum albumin bovine and its antibody.
