Modeling and Control Research on the Automatic Depth of a Mine Sweeping Plough

The mine sweeping plough of a weapon is a certain type of electro-hydraulic servo system with complex nonlinear characteristics including flow/pressure relation, etc, and it is difficult to construct its accurate model by first principle method. The paper presents an approach to model the electro-hydraulic system using the BP neural network and a fuzzy-neural intelligent controller of the system is designed to realize its off-line optimization and on-line selflearning. Simulation and experimental results show that the controller designed possesses high performance and satisfies the system requirement.The error of the depth control of the mine sweeping plough is less than 10mm.
