The Secondary Development of 3D Modeling System of Cooking Fume Purifiers

In the 3D modeling system design of cooking fume purifiers of one certain enterprise, there exist repeatability design problems for different types of products. In this paper, a way of establishing the template of 3D model of cooking fume purifiers was given, which based on the Pro/E parametric modeling system and adopted top-down design methods of layout controlling framework as well as the framework controlling the assembly and parts. With the development tool of Automation Gateway and the adoption of VB visualization design technology, the model structures were controlled and the variable parameters were dynamically displayed and modified. Furthermore, the same series but different types of 3D models of cooking fume purifiers were generated. The 3D modeling software system of cooking fume purifiers is secondarily developed, which will improve the design efficiency and normalization of the products.
