Application of Fuzzy Neural Network Controller in Electro-Hydraulic Servo Systems

Hydraulic systems play an important role in modern industry. However, due to the hydraulic system itself nonlinear factors exist, the conventional control approaches may not guarantee satisfactory control performance. This paper presents a self-learning algorithm of fuzzy neural network based on subtractive clustering, which in order to control the electro-hydraulic position servo system. Subtractive clustering algorithm is used to determine the initial structure of fuzzy neural network, which in the process of learning of network. The result parameter and premise parameter are identified by least square method and back-propagation algorithm, respectively. To validate the proposed control strategy, the cosimulation is carried out, which between AMESim and Simulink. The results show that the fuzzy neural network method has a great ability of restraining external disturbance.
