Investigation of Vibration Power Flow in a Floating Raft Isolation System Using Vectorial Four-pole Parametric Method
This paper is concerned with the prediction of dynamic response of a complex coupled floating raft system. The floating raft system consisting of several subsystems was simplified as a multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) linear system. Based on the vectorial four-pole parametric methods, the vibration power flow was predicted at each interface in this system. The results from calculation were compared with that from the experiment. Good agreement was found. This indicates that vectorial four-pole parametric method can be further developed to analyze the dynamical behavior of more complex mechanical system.
