Research on the Formability of EFP with Fins
This paper presents a way to form fins by pasting clapboard. The structural shape of the detonation wave front is changed by affixing clapboard to the liner, then the detonation pressure on the liner results in regular changes which lead to the formation of EFP with fins. At the same time, the influence of velocity and pressure on the liner is analyzed in a theoretical model, and then the feasibility of clapboard methods are confirmed the influence of velocity and pressure on the liner is analyzed in a theoretical model. The numerical simulation of the clapboard method forming fins is simulated by AUTODYN according to the conditions of the experiment. Based on the results of the numerical simulation, the feasibility of the clapboard method was confirmed.
