Study on Technique to Add Node Adaptively Based on EFG Method
The new technique to add nodes adaptively and posteriori error estimation is presented based on element-free Galerkin method in this paper, in which the background mesh is unchanged. A posteriori error estimator is derived by integrating Taylor expansion of computing point displacement with moving least square post-processing technique. The scheme of adding nodes is discussed by using point cloud structure. The radius range of inserting nodes is determined. The adaptive analysis numerical examples are achieved by using random and regular adding nodes. The results obtained show that the computational precision of regular adding nodes can be significantly improved, and further illustrates that the proposed method is feasible and effective.
