The Research on Influence of Ratio of Length to Height on New EFP Based on Collision Theory
The overpressure is made by collision of detonation waves, and the pressure increases 2 times as normal detonation pressure. For the linear charge, based on detonation waves collision, a type of new lateral EFP can be formed. For small L/H of charge, detonation waves come into collision by spherical wave, and the collision pressure is related to collision anger. For large L/H of charge, detonation wave come into collision by slide detonation wave, the collision pressure is related to the pressure before collision. For linear charge, the velocity of new EFP increases persistently as increase of L/H. But new EFP isnt easy to close when L/H is too large, the best results of close is that of 4.
