Transformation-Domains Theory and Analysis of Combustion Waves
Theoretical relations of pressure, density, velocity, temperature and Mach number of combustion waves are built in detail. Based on these relations, the Transformation-Domains theory of combustion waves is presented. The theory includes three matters: four domains of combustion happened possibly, limits of combustion parameters, and Transforming Spots or Transforming Lines. The four domains represent different combustion states. A limit and a Transforming Spot confirm a range of a parameter for a combustion wave. The theory is clear and convenient to analyze the trends of combustion waves, and is meaningful to determine conditions on which detonation waves or deflagration waves occur.
