The Design of Setback-pin for Safety and Arming Device Based on MEMS Fuze
In this paper, a micro setback-pin (SP) was designed for faze MEMS Safety and Arming device. The arming distance of the SP is 0.6mm. The structure of setback-spring was calculated and the dynamics model was set up. The dynamic simulation of SP was carried by ADAMS software. The displacement of SP is 0.65mm when it suffers an acceleration pulse with 10000g peak and 8ms width. And when the peak acceleration is 12000g and the pulse width is 100μs, the displacement of setback-pin is 0.32mm. So, the dropping environment and the launching environment can be distinguished by the SP device.
