Simulation and Analysis of an Off-road Vehicle Handling Stability Based on ADAMS Car
In this paper, a multi-body dynamic model of an offroad vehicle is built to analyze the vehicle handling performance. The model includes suspension, vehicle body, transmission system, steering mechanism, tires, braking system, etc. With the model, the step steering of steering wheel, pulse steering of steering wheel, fish hook test and steady static circular test are carried. According to the simulation result and evaluation score, we can get a conclusion that the vehicle has a favorable handling performance.
