Simulation of Semi-active Suspension of Tracked Vehicle Based on MR Damper
A 2DOF vibration model of tracked vehicle with semiactive suspension based on magnetorheological (MR) damper was established. Four active control algorithms named COC, IOC, HOC and LQG were summarized. To compare the control effect of the active control algorithms upwards, simulations were carried out on the suspension system of tracked vehicle. Dynamic response curves of vertical displacement, vertical acceleration, pitching angular displacement and pitching angular acceleration with the four active control algorithms were obtained respectively. The maximum control force of MR damper and RMS value of the vehicle bodys vibration response were calculated. From the simulation results, The vibration reduction effects of the four kinds active control algorithms were analyzed. It shown that the semi-active suspension system had a good effect on vibration absorbing no matter using any of the four algorithms, and the IOC and COC all had a better effect on vibration absorbing. Though the effect of the LQG was not good as the IOC and COC, it was easier to realize.
