Research on the University Library Bookshelf Design Based on Human Dimensions Application
By analyzing the relationship between the body size and the design of the university library shelves, indicating that body size is an important factor in bookshelf design, providing a scientific basis and design criteria for the design of the university library shelves. Using the knowledge of anthropometry and data processing and combining with the use analysis of real life, it determines the human body basis of the size in the bookshelf design, thus building a scientific rationality in the application of the body size in the design process. As the main furniture in university library-shelves, the designer should take full account of the size parameters of the human body, make the design object in a comfortable environment. By analyzing the size relationship between the body and the design of the main university library shelves, the paper indicates the importance of the body size in the design of the shelves. Therefore, designers should take the body size as the core of the design, providing a comfortable, scientific and reasonable learning atmosphere for university library.
