Practice and Experience on Carrying out the Engineering Training
To carry out engineering training is an important initiative of higher engineering education, which returns nature of education from science to engineering. Relying on the engineering training, implementing teaching of the Double Certificate System,cultivating applied innovative talents are an important direction of practice teaching reform for a new application-oriented institutes. At the same time, to update curriculum, to expand training content, to enrich teaching methods, and to innovate assessment mechanism, are an inexhaustible power of promoting sustainable development of the institutes. The most important thing is to clarify status of teaching staff but not teaching support staff for the teachers who are committed to the engineering training, it is key to cracking the bottleneck of domestic engineering training development.
