Study of Blasting Seismic Effect on Fracture Zones

According to the behaviors of the explosion source and the rock deformation, the effect zones of tunnel blasting include the failure and plastic deformation zone, the elastic-plastic deformation zone by the explosive stress wave, and the elastic vibration zone by the seismic wave. Based on the propagation characteristic of stress wave in fracture rock, the propagation of seismic wave in fracture zone was studied, and the test results were used in Qingzang railway Cuanjiao tunnel. Through the monitoring and analysis of blasting seismic, it indicates that some technical measures should be used in tunnel support The field test provides safety criterion and technical standards for rock blasting in fracture zone, which provide a reference for vibration damage control in such tunnel.
