Research on Calculation Method of Specific Charge in Bench Blasting
Specific charge is the most important parameter of technique, but Specific charge of bench blasting is mainly confirmed in terms of methods of experience and data for a long time, different engineering and technical personnel value difference is very big, It is hardly to ensure the design scientifically. For confirming specific charge of bench blasting reasonably, The author analyzes main factors to influence specific charge in detail. In terms of construction experiences of bench blasting, the author brings up a kind of Five-Step method. Firstly it determines the specific charge base according the lithology, and then respectively determines the correction factor based on the rock weathering degree, the explosive types, conditions of blasting construction and requirements of the blasting effect, and finally calculates the specific change value. This method can complete the calculation accurately and quickly, avoid interference of subjective factor in design, reduce design deviation of specific charge, assure the operation safety, improve blasting effect, control construction cost, so it has strong practicability to determine the reasonable specific charge in bench blasting.
