Agrogenic Dynamics and Agroecological Quality of Arable Steppe Soils at the Central Chernozemic Region of Russia

Over 300 years of intensive agricultural land-use have caused strong agrogenic degradation of Chernozems in the Central Chemozemic Region of Russia (CChR). Just unique natural features of Chernozems helped them to keep basic part of their potential fertility and ecological functions in so unfavorable management conditions. Current agronomy is characterized by ecological problem sharpening. The issue of scientific prediction of Chernozems dynamics and ecological state is becoming crucial important, because they limit the possibilities of agronomy sustainable development in steppe rural regions.
