Evaluation of feed balance based on metabolisable energy

Introduction: Grassland degeneration is a serious ecological and social problem in northwestChina, and overgrazing is one of the most important reasons for degeneration. Improving the feed balance is a key part of grassland restoration and grassland livestock sustainable development. Models based on metabolic energy were used to evaluate the feed balance and to investigate optimising methods for improvement, based on surveys of typical herders data from Sunan County.
