Temporal variation of water-soluble sugar in Seriphidium transiliense under different mowing intensities and its nutrition relationship between aboveground and belowground

In four treatments, the content of water soluble sugar in roots all reached the highest level in Oct. 15,2008 and 2009, water soluble sugar transfered automatically from aboveground to belowground and storage it in roots response to declining air temperature; When the plants are beginning turning green in the coming year, water soluble sugar storaged in roots transferred from belowground back to aboveground automatically, which providing nutrients to turning green and regrowth. Namely, there are synchronization between turning green and nutrients consumption. Mowing had an important influence on accumulation in autumn or consumption in spring of water soluble sugar, different mowing intensities made the accumulation and consumption of water soluble sugar were different. Moderate mowing is advantageous to forage grass growth and recycling; In the all winter, water soluble sugar consumption is very quick, and it did not have redundant water soluble sugar to turn green for plants, and even presented the death phenomenon.
