Plant Seeds Germination Rate Response to Three Residues Aqueous Extract

Introduction: Allelopathy has been defined as any direct or indirect beneficial or detrimental effect by one plant on another (including microbes) through production of chemical compounds that release into their environment (Rice, 1984). Little information is available on the performance of rangeland dominant plants allelopathy in associate with its intergrowth plants. The objective of this research was to assess the allelopathy through the germination response of different species to the aqueous leachate from residues of rangeland dominant plants in the Loess Plateau.
