The study of technology of integrated transformation for Growing grass to feed sheep in karst mountains
Introduction: The 40 projects of involving in Growing grass to feed sheep were set up in different districts of Guizhou at present and the application rates of technical achievements reached 100%.The technology of integrated transformation for growing grass to feed sheep utilized the way of cooperation and co-promotion--Institute+Enterprise+Base+Farmers (cooperatives), Institute+Government business unit+Base+Fanners (cooperatives) , and combined the major force of domestic lawn livestock and technology promotion by relying on the technical system of national forage industry and establishing the ways of different areas closed co-promotion. The project included domestic forage grass species and appropriate quality forage species for breeding goat, on one hand, it used the operation mechanism to strengthen mixture grass planting and goat breeds, sheep and grass to strengthen technical training and innovation management,on the other hand, to promote innovative technologies of results of integrating with growing grass and feeding sheep, it seize the opportunities of the industrialization of science and technology pro-poor policies about grassland animal husbandry in Guizhou province,to carry out breeding technology integration by grass seed production and processing, optimal cropping patterns in different grass, shrubland and grassland sheep mixture, and plus feeding and rotational grazing grazing district etc.. At the same time, The projects exploded and promoted positively the results of measures, established to promote demand-driven mechanism of farmers, adopted a way of base drive, rolling development, collective conversions, micro-credit, self-development, The results showed that the integrated innovation is the karst mountain grass for sheep model of technology development, in-depth study of integrated innovation, full maturation of the technology, integrated innovation achieved remarkable results at the local grass production technology and technical aspects of alpine mountain sheep. And achieved a harmonious development of resource utilization and protection, significantly improved the technological level of goat breeding, significantly reduced the breeding costs, significantly increased the breeding efficiency, it promoted the development of industry for breeding sheep by planting grass in Guizhou and has played an important role in science and technology demonstration.
