The Exploration of the Sample Survey of Road Transport Volume in China

摘要：

The paper aims at the existing shortcomings of the sample survey of road transport volume in China and presents an improved new idea, the periodic sampling plan plus the annual sampling plan. Periodic sampling plan as large-scale sample survey activity once every five years is mainly to obtain the basic data of road transport in this cycle. Annual sampling plan as small-scale sample survey activity once every year is mainly to access the monthly data of highway traffic using two-phase sampling technique plus periodic sampling technique.
