Fuzzy Expert System for Diagnosis of Mechanical Deterioration of Concrete Structures
Despite the remarkable growth of marine and hydraulic concrete structures they are suffering from different kind of deteriorations. Therefore it is essential to have some plans for maintenance and repair of concrete structures. Saving national investments especially marine and hydraulic structures which are susceptible to mechanical and physical deteriorations is the main concern of the maintenance and repair departments. These deteriorations need applicable diagnosis systems based on the results and symptoms observed in visual and other types of inspections. Diagnosis of mechanical and physical deteriorations ambiguous and there is some vagueness at decision making stage. In this paper we try to develop a fuzzy expert system for diagnosis of physical and mechanical deteriorations of concrete structures.
