A Source Water Protection Model Based on Geographic Information System

Consider the value of a dependable supply of clean, safe drinking water to the local economy, development opportunities, and quality of life. Source water protection plans can help drinking water systems and the communities they serve keep our drinking water safe. The analysis reveals that source water protection largely occurred outside of the longstanding watershed planning process in China. Although thats not the only reason for developing these plans, the local governments can involve in a flexible approach to realize source water protection.
