TiO2 Nanotube Arrays Prepared by Multi-step Anodization
The highly ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays are fabricated by anodization on a pure titanium foil in the mixed solution of NH4F, ethylene glycol and water as the electrolyte. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) are used to characterize the morphology of titania nanotube arrays. The results of one-step oxidation and multi-step oxidation are compared, which show that the TiO2 nanotube arrays fabricated by multi-step oxidation have obvious improvements in pore size uniformity, surface regularity and the quality of nanotube formation.
