Numerical Simulation for Optical Crystal Growth by TSSG Method

In recent years, TSSG method is widely applied to the growth of new laser crystals and nonlinear optical crystals in laboratory. TSSG method crystal growth process is in a complex multi-physical coupling environment. The steady-state distribution of physical field and the instantaneous response to the process parameters, material property and crystal size, determine the size and quality of the crystal. High-quality crystals growth is necessary and sufficient condition to coordinate among the physical field, process parameters and crystal growth. Therefore, it is of high difficulty for TSSG method design and adjustment of optical crystal growth process. Usually, trial-and-error experiments need to be done to obtain high-quality optical crystals in laboratory for dozens or even hundreds of times.
