Truncation Error and Aliasing Error for Whittaker-Shannon Sampling Expansion
Let BpΩ,1 ≤ p< ∞, be the set of all bounded functions from Lp(IR) which can be extended to entire functions of exponential type Ω. The uniform bounds for truncation error of Shannon expansion based on local sampling are derived for functions f ∈ BpΩ without decay assumption. Then we obtain the uniform bounds of aliasing error and truncation error for non-bandlimited functions from Sobolev classes.
