Modeling and Simulation of Automatic Train Operation System based on Self-regulating Fuzzy Algorithm

Accurate velocity and position tracking are the main tasks of automatic train operation (ATO)systems,accompanied by other concerned issues,such as the comfort of passenger,energy saving,etc..A novel train dynamic model is established, which can mirror the dynamic characteristic better than that of single-mass model,and less computational amount than that of multi-mass model simultaneously.Following a fuzzy-logic controller incorporating self-regulating algorithm is designed and implemented.The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is proved by numerical simulations.
