Acoustic Whispering Gallery Mode Coupling with Lamb Wave Similar to Optical Microcavities

摘要：

Acoustic whispering gallery modes in a fused quartz tube was investigated by putting a Lamb wave device below with a distance near the evanescent field penetration depth in the water. Extended abstract Lord Rayleigh discussed the whispering galleries in buildings about one hundred years ago.
