Analysis of Stimulated Emission of Surface Plasmon Polaritons
We calculate the relative corelation of metal thickness to the dispersion relation of surface plasmon polariton and wave vector modulus. With the high permittivity of the polymer film on the metal layer, the SPPs can be localized well and longer propagation length can be obtained. Extended abstract Surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) is a kind of electromagnetic oscillation coupled with the undulation of charge intensity, wihich is excited at the interface between metal and dielectric. With the properties of near—field enhancement and shot wavelength, SPP play an important role in nanophotonics.
