A New Calibration Method Used in the Infrared Ray Environment
Comparing with those calibration methods used in the visible light,this paper proposes a new calibration method used in the infrared ray environment.This method stems form Zhang zhengyous planer method.Firstly,we design a move path to replace the gridiron pattern which is invisible in the infrared ray environment.Then we use the C.M.M to control a visible ball in the infrared ray environment to move along the designed path, forming a trajectory of the gridiron pattern.Synchronously,im--plement the image acquisition,ball centre calculation and spatial coordinates registration with the path.The centre of the ball in the image is detected by the Hough transform.The results are arranged to substitute the grid corners’ coordinates..Finally we can obtain the camera intrinsic and extrinsic parameters with Zhang Zhengyous calibration toolbox.
