Fate Characterization of A Novel Fungicide SYP-3343 in Chinese Soils
SYP-3343, (E)-methyl 2-(3-((3-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-methyl-1H -pyrazol-5-yloxy) methyl) phenyl) -3 -methoxyacrylate, is a novel developed strobilurin fungicide developed by ShenYang Research Institute of Chemical Industry, China. It has a highly effective and broad-spectrum fungicide against Downy Mildew, Powdery Mildew, and Rice Blast. The adsorption, desorption and kinetics characteristics of SYP-3343 on different Chinese soils were studied in the laboratory using batch equilibration techniques. The result shown that it reached adsorption equilibrium for about 5 hrs, the adsorption capacity of SYP-3343 on each soil was small and the average value was about 0.45 ug.g-1. The solid-liquid ratio and initial added amount can both affect the adsorption capacity obviously, the desorption rate was less than 10% on the tested soils.
