Preparation and Characterization of Low-temperature Catalytic Combustion Catalyst La0.8Ce0.2MnOx/γ-Al2O3
In this paper, MnOx catalysts, supported on γ-Al2O3 and modified by La and Ce, were prepared by isometrical impregnation method. The load rate of active component and calcination temperature were investigated by the catalytic combustion of toluene. It was found that the best preparation process of catalyst was the loading amount of La0.8Ce0.2MnOx about 12% and 450℃ calcination background. In the gas flow rate of 6000h-1, toluene was completely combusted at the temperature of 320. T ℃ he catalyst was characterized by means of XRD, BET, SEM and XRF. The results showed that the active component on the surface of La0.8Ce0.2MnOx/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was superior in dispersivity, the size of oxide particles on the surface of catalyst was equable and they dispersed evenly. All of these implied fine catalytic activity and were favorable for the catalytic combustion of toluene.
