Influence of O-Dihydroxybenzene and Pyrogallol on the Growth of Scenedesmus Oblipuus

Through the study on water plants allelopathy is gradually in depth, it is except to make allelopathy became an alternative way to eutrophication control. Based on lab culture experiment, this study analyzes allelopathic influence of O-Dihydroxybenzene and Pyrogallol with different concentrations on the growth and metabolism of Scenedesmus oblipuus, in which change of chloroplast-A content in the algae cells serves as the index. Meanwhile, A560nm is employed as the indicator for analyzing influence of O-Dihydroxybenzene and Pyrogallol with different concentrations on superoxide dismutase activity of Scenedesmus oblipuus and for exploring relationship between allelopathic suppression and superoxide dismutase activity, the results could be provided a real experimental basis for the technology of control over-reproduction of algae in water by means of allelopathy.
