Research on Treatment of Petroleum-contaminated Soil by Coal Sorbent with Ultrasonic Irradiation
The ultrasonic irradiation technology was used into purification of petroleum-contaminated soil by coal sorbent. The effect of ultrasound frequency, ultrasonic power, temperature and ultrasonic irradiation time had been researched. Under the optimum conditions(ultrasound frequency 40 kHz, ultrasonic power 50W, temperature of 50 ℃, ultrasonic irradiation time 30 min), the removal rate of petroleum hydrocarbon was 93.46%. The results show the role of ultrasonic irradiation to reduce the coal adsorbent particle size, increasing its specific surface area and reactivity points to improve the efficiency of removal of oil pollutants.
