UTILITY HYBRID OVERHEAD GROUND WIRE FOR ICE MELTING WITH HIGH VOLTAGE AND LARGE CURRENT

摘要：

A hybrid overhead ground wire with embedded currentcarrying conductors is proposed. A sample hybrid overhead ground wire is designed and fabricated. The experiments show that this new kind of ground wire is with good insulation and is very beneficial to achieve efficient ice melting.
