Research on the Adaptability of the Garment Sleeve Shape Structure and the Human Upper Limbs
The garment sleeve shape structure is a physical dimension system developed based on the prototype of the human upper limbs,the research on which contributes to resolving the adaptability problem of the garment sleeve struc ture and the upper limbs functions.According to the upper limbs shape,the joints drive and other characteristics,the paper is divided into four structural parts including “the arnl rhizospheres and the upper convex surfaces on shoulder por tions,“the arm rhizospheres and the lower concave SUrfaces on the chest sides,“the covert front concave surfaces of the elbow jointsand“the covert front concave surfaces of the wrist ioints,analyzes and researches the four structural parts by way of vertical scissoring.The research turns out that the garment sleeve shape is more an elliptical barrel shaped object which is able to contain a plurality of changeable concave-convex bodies with curved surfaces than a sim plex object decorating the human upper limbs.Apart from that,it can balance the relation between the human body and the upper limbs structure functions reasonably and synthetically,design the amount of materials of sleeve armholes, sleeve tops,sleeve elbows and sleeve wrists,and is the only reference for the sleeve structure to realize great adaptability of internal structures and the human body functions on the premise that the sleeve structure conforms to the decoration of the human body.
