Innovative Design of Thick Spacer Fabrics Using Water-soluble PVA
Water-soluble PVA is safe, non-toxic, environmentally products, easy to dissolve in water. It is the ideal carrier fiber in textile products processing and has been variously used in the wool, linen, paper, embroidery and other industries. The characteristics of spacer fabrics and applications was discussed in this article. The principles and methods of designing thick spacer fabrics by using of water-soluble PVA as Carrier weft yarn were introduced, the key of dissolving Carrier weft yarn was explained with a draft pattern. This method was economic, easy, and had great potential.
