Application of Digital Image Processing Technology in Textile Industry
Recently, the application of digital processing technology in textile field is gradually increased. The main researches focus on analyzing the properties of fabric appearance, automatic recognizing the weave pattern and structure of fabric, and testing the quality of finished and semi finished articles. Some research fruits are tending towards application in industry, which supply a effective tools for the automatization of test and analysis in textile. However, it is difficult to develop a universal application because of the complexity of fabric structure and the uncertainty caused by various factors in textile production. With going deep into research, the image processing methods used in textile industry are extending and their achievement is gradually visualized. It is believed that the image processing technology will contribute to the development of textile industry in future.
