Fashion Recycling in China
The rapid development of textile and garment industry result to a continuously enrich of material and cultural life for mankind, but at the same time, it also brings the resources shortage, environmental pollution, ecological imbalance as well. On the other hand, with the accelerating pace of upgrading in fashion trend, the life cycle of apparel is gradually shortened which leads to a large number of apparel backlog home. To inhibit consumption of natural resources, minimize the burden on the environment, the building of the recycling society brooks no delay. Through paper research on cycling economy home and abroad, this paper expound the main elements, the history and the development level of textile and garment reuse. Through on the spots visits of secondhand markets and shops this paper also draw a brief view on China s current fashion recycling stat.
