The Change Trends and Relations of Climatic and Hydrological Factors in the Liu River, Zhangwu County, Liaoning Province, China
Understanding of the interactions between climatic and hydrological factors is very important for both real situation analyses and predicting the climatic trends and potential hydrological consequences. Air temperature, precipitation, evaporation, discharge, sandiness and sediment transport for the period 1968-2009 were selected to discover the change trends and correlations of climatic and hydrological factors in the Liu River within the boundaries of Zhangwu county. The intra-year variation scope of air temperature and sandiness were largest and smallest respectively. Monthly change trend of every factor was very similarly except evaporation. The variation scope of inter annual sediment transport and evaporation were largest and smallest respectively. The trend of air temperature series for the period 1968-2009 was positive (p<0.01), and the trends of evaporation, discharge, sandiness and sediment transport series for the period 1968-2009 were negative (p<0.01).There were significant correlations among climatic and hydrological factors.
