Factors Analysis on Doctors’ Behavior Decision in Referral Process

Based on the survey and depth interviews, the factors affecting doctors referral behavior is divided into three main factors: personal factors, hospital factors and patient factors, including conditions of patients is the strongest level on the importance of physician referral behavior, while the impact of interest, and colleagues was relatively small. Statistics through the questionnaire survey, using stepwise regression method to establish multiple regression model showed that patient factors, personal factors and hospital factors impact the physician referral behavior of decision-making, but there are some differences in the extent in which patient factors which influence the relative behavior of doctor physician referral is largest, followed by personal factors, hospital factors is smallest.
