The New Progresses of Public Participation in China’s Eco-civilization Construction

摘要：

Eco-civilization Construction is one of Chinese Governments new requirements for attaining the goal of building a moderately prosperous society. This process which is called ecological governance needs public participation. Chinese government has long been aware that public participation is an essential prerequisite for successful environmental protection and has provided some ways and means of public participation. There are some new progresses that haven’t been paid more attention in the recent years. It is wise that the ruling party and central government should build a certain policy network to make a good partnership between government and civil society.
