Ecotecture and Its Development Based on System Thinking

Due to the growing worsened ecotope, the concept of sustainable development is being willingly accepted by Chinas general public. As an important part of ecological design, ecotecture plays an important role in the course of urban construction and history of men. Therefore, pushing forward ecotecture actively is the inevitable trend of sustainable development. This paper expounds the concept, basic character and development status as well as the developing trend of ecotecture with system thinking in China, and draws up a strategy to provide theoretical basis for the development of ecotecture.
