Study on the Capability of Four-Level Partial Response Equalization in RSOA-Based WDM-PON

摘要：

We investigate the characteristics of 10 Gb/s upstream transmission in WDM-PON using bandwidth-limited RSOA and various lengths of fiber. We demonstrate that four-level partial response equalization is capable of mitigating the impact of ISI in networks with reach from 0 km to 75 km.
