Wavelength Conversion Characteristics of Optical Packets using Digital Wavelength Converter based on Optical SSB Modulator
The wavelengths of 10Gbit/s optical packets are converted by the frequency of ±50GHz using our proposed wavelength converter which is composed of an optical SSB modulator and Mach-Zehnder interferometer. The converted packets are routed using AWG de-multiplexer. The switching time is corresponding to the delay of the loop.
