Coupling characteristics between slot plasmonic mode and dielectric waveguide mode
A hybrid coupler comprised of a slot plasmonic waveguide and a dielectric waveguide is proposed and its coupling characteristics were analyzed. The simulation results show that the slot plasmonic mode can be excited efficiently by the dielectric waveguide mode and a highly integrated refractive index sensor could be realized.
